Random thoughts from a film festival
1.
Youth and the urge to change, desire to do important things quickly, like change the world through revolution. Violence is seductive, powerful and complete adrenal. Making thoughts, writing books are slow processes, thats for the old. Big changes are almost automatic in the flow of things, young or old are mare participants.
2.
Family becomes fun when there is love but it is dysfunctional.
3.
To create we need to seek the edge. Edge is about giving up what you have and create vacuum. It is not about getting something but getting empty. It is also not about giving up things which we desired but actually don't have.
4.
Do we really need a dream at all. It does give lots of energy in everyday life but does it ends with happiness or disappointment. When realized no dream is good enough anyway.
5.
Does seat no. 7 brings good luck. Whats really different between good and bad, aren't they are two ends of same thing, the difference is in degree only.
6.
May be someday we will learn to do toilet together gracefully like eating or traveling together.
7.
Multilingual people mostly becomes transactional in their use of language and some time looses the subtlety of using a language in depth. Mother tongue has its place.
