G O A

Recently by some co incidence I am visiting Goa with different set of people staying at different places doing different staff in quick succession.
Conclusion - Goa has many different souls, it depends who you connect to.

Pune Goa by road > Clouds eating mountains, some very straight and long roads stretching till the horizon, waiting for cows to cross over fancy highways, Mostly good food along the way, mostly good signage when it is there, people on the road are still the most reliable and detailed source of way-finding information.

Food > specialized Goan food – Xacuti, Vindalo and others, a unique sour and pungent curry

Sea beach > there are many beaches, each with its own distinct character. Some is for local family tourist, some for foreigners, some for water sports, some for marketing etc.

Conferences > two new thought after waiting for eight hours is little tiring, meet some lost faces, nobody really connects as every one too busy communicating, headache, lack of fresh air, some presenter have passion, some has drama, some speaks like snake – completely mesmerizing, some are rational, some (thinks) they are savior of the mankind, some thinks they really are, pretty girls in short things, good t-shirt, long queue for tea, long shot at the past and future.

Children > Goa has only the sea to offer to the children. The food is hot and spicy, the bikinis make no sense, time consuming bargain oriented marketing of craft clothes and trinkets is insane, Walking on the hot sand is bad, to come all the way to have standard chilled sodas is meaning less.

Conclusion – Goa is best for young adults (who are sick of restrictions and want to discover the edge of living) or oldish adults (who wants a last shot at youth before it is too late).
